Who we are

The Order of the Eastern Star is a non-profit fraternal organization and is known as one of the largest fraternal organizations in the world of which both men and women may belong. It’s true beauty lies in the character-building lessons derived from five heroines of the bible: Jephthah's daughter, Ruth, Esther, Martha, and the Elect lady of 2 John.

Eastern Star strives to take good people and through acts of love and service uplift one another to become better people, and to build an Order dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness. Its members maintain a deep fraternal bond of wholesome sisterly and brotherly love.

Phillipsburg Masonic Lodge #52

Phillipsburg Masonic Lodge #52 is a lodge of the Freemasons in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, which is chartered under the Grand Lodge of New Jersey, F&AM. As a fraternal organization, the lodge focuses on the personal growth, self-awareness, and spiritual development of its members and engages in community outreach through various programs and events, often emphasizing acts of charity.

Although the Order of the Eastern Star is not part of Freemasonry, our members of Delaware Chapter #50 work closely with the members of the Phillipsburg Masonic Lodge #52. Working together allows both groups to assist one another as brothers and sisters bringing aid, resources, and support throughout the community.
